A local car rental in Mytilene, Lesvos

DriveUp is a small, locally run car rental company based in Mytilene, the capital of Lesvos. We started in 2024 with one simple idea: renting a car on the island should be quick, honest and personal. When you book with us, you deal directly with the people who own and look after the cars, not with a call centre or a booking platform.

How it works

Mytilene Airport – meet & greet. We have no desk at the airport. One of us waits for you at the arrivals exit with your car, so there are no queues. More about airport pick-up.
Mytilene Port. Arriving by ferry? We deliver the car to the port and collect it there when you leave.
Our office. You can also pick up or return the car at our office at Ermou 302, Mytilene.
Flexible returns. Pick up at the airport and return at the port, or the other way round. Delivery and collection at the airport and port are free.

Drivers must be between 23 and 70 years old and hold a valid driving licence for at least one year. Optional extra damage cover is available when you book; see our terms for details.

Our fleet

We keep a small fleet of economical, well-maintained cars that suit the island’s narrow village streets and mountain roads: city cars such as the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108, and larger cars such as the Peugeot 208 and Citroën C3 for families and extra luggage.
